01 / BACKGROUND

Why MNEME fights

Mneme was raised in a library that outlived the civilization that built it, learning that memory only survives if it can act on its own behalf. She discovered she could inscribe luminous constructs — small agents with interior lives — that hold a position and a purpose long after she has moved on.

She fights to prove that vivid worlds and rigorous proof are not opposites: every monument she plants is both a weapon and an argument, an archive that refuses to decay quietly.
